HB97 (Two Abreast) passed by voice vote and was engrossed. The third reading will be Monday. It is expected to pass
and move on to the Senate. HB187 (Motorcycle
Only Checkpoints) will have its second reading on Monday and has strong
support in the House of Delegates. The support both bills have enjoyed
is due to each and everyone of you who have worked for both
of these important pieces of legislation. We will continue to report
on each and as they move onto the Senate and are assigned a committee we
will pass on that information as well.
